		<description>It coped with quite a bit more weight during my Easter training ride. Then I was carrying a tent, sleeping bag &#038; mat, and an RCD unit (for electric hook-up at campsites) in addition to what I'm now carrying. The spoke's replaced now, so things are back to normal again.</description>

		<description>&lt;p&gt;Broken spoke on the first day - ouch. Sounds like your bike is not used to carrying the extra weight in your panniers and bags. Replacement ones definitely a good idea. Cycle shops will be few and far between for some of your stages.&lt;/p&gt;
